Tyler walked three times a week from his grandparents' house to volunteer at Hospice. Despite his own challenges in life, he always found time to give back. Through a follower on Twitter, Tyler's grandmother reached out to us and told us about her grandson and his new love for golf. His grandmother, who was taking care of her terminally ill husband and was also Tyler's primary caretaker, needed help with the cost of his new hobby.
Drive Fore The Future purchased a set of custom-fit golf clubs, along with shoes, balls and clothes, to ensure Tyler had the necessary equipment. His goal was to make the high school team the following year.
The last year has been tough as Tyler lost his grandfather. However, he dove into golf as an outlet, and we are happy to report he even played a few matches for the varsity team.
