The reach of Drive Fore The Future goes far beyond the game of golf and exists for one reason: to provide underprivileged youth with fundamental values such as teamwork, good sportsmanship, sense of community, and strong work ethic.
In practice, that means identifying and providing resources most vital to these perspective golfers; spearheading solutions around socioeconomic challenges; coordinating and streamlining the efforts of multiple partners and sponsors; and preparing these individuals for a more successful path forward.
In principle, it means leveraging our core values of giving, optimism, tenacity, collaboration, and advocating for these individuals to achieve their greatest potential.

Drive Fore the Future recently had the honor of partnering with Matanzas High School in Palm Coast, Florida. Click the link below to learn more about our collaboration.
George Rogers Clark High School, located in rural Central Kentucky, faces significant challenges due to the opioid epidemic, with 6 out of 10 students being raised by single parents, and a large percentage by their grandparents. In this environment, school sports become a vital outlet for students, offering a sense of belonging, teamwork, and personal growth.
Head Golf Coach Mike Rogers, committed to keeping students engaged through sports, reached out to Drive Fore The Future for assistance in starting the girls' golf season on a strong note. With tournament entry fees averaging around $400, fundraising is essential to cover the costs of clubs, bags, and apparel. This year, Coach Rogers also hoped to provide his team with umbrellas, towels, and golf balls.
Thanks to our partnership with Callaway, Drive Fore The Future was able to step in and contribute enough balls, umbrellas, and towels for each player on the team. While Coach Rogers mentioned they were well-equipped in some areas, the additional support with these items made a significant difference in ensuring the team had what they needed for a successful season. We’re grateful for the opportunity to help these deserving students and contribute to their growth and success on and off the course.
At Drive Fore The Future, we're committed to ensuring that all young athletes have the equipment they need in order to succeed. When we learned that the East Surry High School Golf Team was struggling due to a lack of proper equipment for their female golfers, we knew we had to help.
The team was relying on a limited pool of men’s irons, which made it difficult for their female athletes to perform at their best. After receiving a request from Head Coach Darrin Haywood, we were eager to step in and support these young golfers.
Drive Fore The Future provided the team with six complete sets of women’s 14-piece golf clubs, ensuring that these young women would be fully equipped for their upcoming season.
Supporting the next generation of golfers is at the heart of what we do, and we're excited to see how these athletes perform now that they have the right tools in hand. We wish the East Surry High School women’s golf team the very best for a successful fall season!
