Northridge High School's Golf Team faces challenges due to the socioeconomic makeup of the school, with more than half of students qualifying for free and reduced lunch. Many players resort to purchasing clubs at garage sales just to participate. Under the leadership of a new coach, the team has experienced growth, welcoming eleven girls to the golf team this year, compared to the previous year's six. Drive Fore The Future was fortunate enough to partner with this team and Coach AJ Johnson, to provide a monetary donation to be put toward nets, apparel and other equipment. We look forward to connecting with them in the future and as their team continues to grow!
