The once-thriving golf program at Oscoda Area High School (Michigan), which won two state titles in the 1960s, fell dormant over the past 12 years due to waning player interest and limited funds.
Now, under the leadership of new coach Dean Caldwell, the school is determined to reignite its golf legacy. To kick-start this revival, Caldwell sought support from Drive Fore The Future, which stepped in to provide a monetary donation to fund clubs, clothing and other equipment. Oscoda Area High School is now poised to bring back the excitement and opportunity that golf offers to its students and community.
