We’re proud to highlight our recent support of PGA REACH Central New York and the impactful junior golf program they operate in Syracuse, NY- an initiative creating meaningful opportunities for youth to engage with the game of golf, many for the first time.
The connection began when Joe Tesori, PGA, Executive Director of PGA REACH CNY, reached out to share more about the work being done in his community. Led by four passionate PGA Professionals, their junior golf program serves 15 youth from underserved backgrounds, providing instruction, course membership, clubs, and apparel- removing key barriers to access and helping each young player feel welcomed on the course.
Looking ahead, the program is expanding to include a PGA WORKS Youth Camp, which will reach an additional 30–40 students from local inner-city schools. It’s a meaningful step toward making golf more accessible and representative of the communities it serves.
Drive Fore The Future was honored to donate 10 full sets of clubs in support of this growing effort. We’re inspired by PGA REACH Central New York’s commitment to building a more diverse future for the game and grateful to play a small part in their mission to expand access throughout the Central New York region.
